Quality Statement

Our project management team boasts many years experience in the commercial interiors business and has gained an enviable reputation for competitive pricing, quality workmanship and firm on-site management which has led to successful on-going relationships with both developers and end user organisations. We do not sub-contract the management of our contracts and we all operate from the same building to ensure short and effective lines of communication.

Health and Safety

Kingfisher Commercial will take all necessary measures to ensure high standards of safety, health and welfare at work for all our Employees and Sub-Contractors in fulfilment of our moral and legal responsib ilities including those under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999, the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 and the Environmental Protection Act 1990.

The health and safety of our Employees, Sub-Contractors and all those likely to be affected by our operations is the recognised responsibility of the Board of Directors.

The Company’s Safety Management System details the responsibility of safety matters at all levels of management and is available to all Employees and Sub-contractors working for the Company. It sets our Company’s safety standards and responsibilities and is reviewed at regular intervals to ensure all changes in legislation are incorporated and our procedures and their implementation remain effective.

The chain of responsibility for day to day matters on site is delegated from the Board of Directors to the Site Managers who are charged with ensuring
safe working practices throughout the course of the contract and that the Health, Safety and Environmental Plan is followed. This may involve instituting specific safety measures appropriate to the project and ensuring healthy and safe methods of work are adopted by any specialist Sub-Contractors. The Company will also employ a Health and Safety Manager who will provide specialist advice on all health and safety matters, make regular site inspections and report findings to both site management and the Board of Directors. We are therefore able to ensure that our methods of working and high safety standards are maintained in line with our stated policy.

Environmental Policy

Our policy towards the earth’s environment brings together our requirements to comply with current government and EU legislation and our wish to use products sourced from suppliers who have a recognised duty of care to the environment.

We use only registered waste disposal companies who abide by government, EU and our own standards. We actively work on a voluntary basis with organisations dedicated to recycling office products.
